Klagenfurt am Wörthersee, 2nd March 2026 – ECUBES signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Regional Government of Carinthia for the development of a green hydrogen energy storage pilot project on 2nd March 2026, in the framework of the 4th Carinthian Hydrogen Summit in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee.

The Memorandum of Cooperation between the Partners was concluded between ECUBES Holding and ECUBES Tehnologije, d.o.o. and the Regional Government of Carinthia (Land Kärnten). The agreement was signed by Aleksander Gerbec, CEO of ECUBES, and Sebastian Schuschnig, Regional Councillor for the Economy of Carinthia.

The Memorandum establishes cooperation on a pilot project for a green hydrogen energy storage system based on advanced hydrogen technology. The initiative is designed to demonstrate innovative hydrogen storage solutions that can enhance energy flexibility, strengthen energy resilience and contribute to decarbonisation efforts in the region.

By formalising this cooperation, the partners reaffirm their commitment to advancing practical hydrogen applications and supporting the development of energy-independent and competitive business locations through cutting-edge clean hydrogen technologies.
