At the 1st International Colloquium on Power Generation and Electromechanical Energy Conversion (ICPGEEC 2025), held in Dubrovnik from 12 to 15 October 2025, NACHIP partner FER presented its latest work on hydrogen-based backup power solutions for datacenters.
Prof. Mario Vašak presented the paper “Hydrogen-based backup power solution for datacenters” together with Mr. Luka Majić from Vertiv, showcasing key findings from the development and prototype testing carried out by FER’s Laboratory for Renewable Energy Systems (LARES).
Alongside Prof. Vašak and Mr. Majić, Dr. Mateja Car and Prof. Željko Ban from FER, together with Mr. Branislav Radanović and Mr. Hrvoje Stančin from Vertiv, contributed to this innovative development.
