On 10 September, the NACHIP project was featured in Celjan newspaper, in the special Gospodarska priloga (Economic Supplement), with an article titled “Evropski vodikov prehod” (European Hydrogen Transition).
In the interview, Mojca Golež highlighted NACHIP’s role in demonstrating how hydrogen technologies can be integrated into district heating systems, showing how renewable hydrogen can provide a clean and reliable source of heat for public buildings. She spoke about the importance of linking solar energy production, hydrogen storage, and fuel cell technology to create an efficient, decarbonised energy system.
She also emphasised that the Velenje pilot is not just a technological demonstration but a way to bring hydrogen solutions closer to local communities, raise awareness, and encourage greater acceptance of sustainable energy systems.
